SJU Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport Map Poster - Classic

To most travellers SJU is a gate number and a coffee. Up close, it is one of the most intricate machines ever drawn on the ground. This minimalist airport map poster distils Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU/TJSJ) in San Juan, Puerto Rico down to the infrastructure itself: runways, taxiways, aprons and terminal buildings, drawn with nothing left over.

The Classic edition renders Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in pure black and white: charcoal runways and taxiways on a crisp white field. A timeless, gallery style look that suits studies, hallways, offices and departure lounges alike, and pairs naturally with black or natural wood frames.

Every line on the poster is real. The layout is rendered directly from OpenStreetMap data, centred on the field at 18.4394 N, 66.0018 W. The airfield, in operation since 1955, 9 ft above sea level, is drawn at true scale: each runway at its actual length and heading, every taxiway and apron in its true place. This is not an artistic impression of SJU; it is the airport's actual ground plan, composed as wall art.

Printed at 300 DPI on 250 gsm museum quality archival matte paper at 50x70 cm (19.7x27.6 in). Choose the print on its own, ready for a frame you already love, or have it arrive framed in black, white or natural wood behind crystal clear plexiglass, ready to hang. Each poster is produced at the print partner nearest to you and ships free to the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

For the person always flying out of SJU: few gifts land better. Also available in the Dark edition: the same airfield on a deep navy canvas.
